I bought my first pair of Danner boots 20 years ago for work and I still use them once and a while. The higher priced Danner boots are well worth it. They can be rebuilt and I did that with mine a few years ago. I would also recommend Ariat boots. I bought a pair a year ago and they are very comfortable and have held up great.

I approached Danner to resole my first pair. From what I read on their site if the uppers have any cuts in them they won't resole them. It doesn't take long for mine long in my work environment to have many cuts around the toe area. Some right down to the steel toe.

Thanks for the replies thus far. I should add that I am leaning towards a pull on, don’t need a steel toe. Looking for comfort and durability. Not too heavy or hot.
Ended up going to the redwing store and got these. They are super comfortable. Pretty light. We will see how they hold up. They are a little hot but not too bad. This message has been edited. Last edited by: ruger357,
