Looking for a seasoned NFA lawyer in SW Ohio. Any Recommendations?

This will be a first time trust and NFA purchase. But looking at the long road ahead.

Thanks in advance.

Forum member heavyD runs an ongoing classified ad for a trust set up which is reasonable, and comprehensive.

I hope, by referencing an ad within this same forum by a different forum member, that the terms of service are not violated. I have no connection to the service or the member so far as sales, though I did purchase the services myself, and thus far, am satisfied.

Thank you for the link.

I do have one issue on page 25 of that thread. One member had an issue that apparently wasn’t corrected in a timely manner.

Whether it was that member/customer or heavyd/Dean that caused the communication issue, I would prefer the lawyer drafting the trust to be local to me, to prevent issues such as this. If any issue arises; a phone call, email, or office visit, could quickly fix this.

Also I have kids that I need to think about for the future.

Nothing against heavyd/Dean, I prefer face to face contact in regards to legal matters. Ran into a past issue with a lawyer, that still to this day is frustrating to think about.

They enter have to be in SW Ohio, just don’t want to talk/drive to Cleveland for legal issues when I live in Cincinnati.

Unless you have some weird setup an NFA trust is simple and you are wasting money doing anything other than the linked suggestion.

I have one and all communications via phone and email were handled quickly.
I have also suggested HeavyD to many folks and they have the same outcome.

Derek may be able to help. I've known him for several years. Good guy. Met him when he and I were active in Ohio gun rights legislation regarding concealed carry.

I agree with Black92LX, Dean was/is super fast on emails, I have nothing but positive things to say about him and his service.

HeavyD all the way!

I think you are way over-thinking this with regard to needing a local (to you) attorney to do a simple NFA Trust.

When I had a few questions setting up my Trust he, (or his paralegal) were very quick to respond to my questions.

Good luck!

Are there any questions I should be asking specifically?

Not to asking my hand to be held, but is there a step by step guide for the process?

Would HeavyD have a guide?

I am completely new to this. Just trying to stay as legal as possible and have all the "t/s crossed and i's dotted".

Thank you again for the advice.

HeavyD is a bonefied attorney not more of a legal document can be provided.

Just fill out his form on the site and pay the $99 you will have a state specific trust catered to you and your family or who you see fit.
Any questions when purchasing items give them a call him or his paralegal will have you covered without issue.

My cousin used HeavyD and the gun shop was having issues (not any fault of the trust but that of the shop) my cousin called while at the shop and walked the shop through the issue.
