If you live in these states, you may not have a magazine capacity restriction now, but if the 9th Circuit reverses itself in en banc, you can bet such laws are coming.

Looks like it's Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington.

Most of them are the "usual suspects", but Michigan, Minnesota, New Mexico, and Virginia are a bit surprising (although I guess they're some of the more liberal of the not-explicitly-liberal states).

Virginia is not at all surprising.

Pennsylvania is a bit surprising. Then again, with that shithead governor Wolf and his commie cohorts, maybe not so much.

Wouldn't it be the Governer and/or AG in the states that file the briefs in support of the constitutionality of the mag bans?

They would still need to pass a law for that, correct? That won't be getting through in PA. And Wolf is done after this term so hopefully the repubs in PA put up a candidate that people actually want to vote for next time.

Virginia, which just passed a law lowering the penalty for assaulting police officers and judges, which passed laws lowering the penalties for drug possession, which refuses to prosecute rioters and looters, and which is perpetually trying to take away gun rights so white women can't protect themselves from rapists - wants to keep us all safe.

So where does CA stand now on this? Are mags in the shelf in CA or did a new ruling come down?

The stay of the lower court remains in effect so magazines are still currently restricted until a review En Banc (full court) by the 9th Circuit.

I would imagine that PA's signing on is the work of Shithead Josh Shapiro, our AG, and King Tommy Wolf. They don't mean shit unless the entire state legislature gets overhauled. :shudders:
