I think the fact that we have 6 rookies on the team is an advantage for us this year and possibly for years to come. Go USA!!!

Hopefully the USA can maintain the momentum tomorrow. I’ve enjoyed watching some of the matches today.

What a golf course and what amazing play on it! I’d need at least a couple of dozen balls to donate to the golf gods on that course.

It's golf, not the Superbowl. To cheer raucously when the Europeans miss a putt is classless.

I understand what you’re saying but in some instances cheering after a missed putt is cheering for the USA winning the hole rather than Europe missing and losing. It’s similar to an incomplete pass on 4th down that seals a victory. I still think the event has more class than most other sporting events. I hope the American fans maintain class throughout the event but there are always exceptions in every crowd. Go USA!!!

^^^^^^ Yep, this. The Ryder Cup is one nation against a whole continent making it unique by any other standard. It would be unusual for nationalism not to appear. The same happens when the cup is played in Europe.

Don't care. It's still classless in a golf setting--much like the "GET IT IN THE HOLE!" assholes and other such repetitive, ridiculous, annoying spectator behavior.

I wish the various tours would eject these twits

Still reliving the 2012 Medinah. It was weird walking out with just about everyone silent.
So fingers crossed but until the last put or hats off, not banking on it.

Best of luck USA.

I wonder if Harrington will play Rory Mcllroy today after benching him yesterday. That had to of hurt his ego. He sucked it up and followed the team all day and gave his support to his teammates. That shows a lot of class on his part.

just turned on the singles matches - and as a golfer I detest the people that yell out 'in the hole' - I think they should be ejected from the property and banned from the tournaments
