Pardon the slight thread drift, but this posting just make me think that I need to go get some Braunschweiger (spelling?), good cheese, German mustard, rye bread, something else I can't recall right this second, need to go check my recipe box.

Yum this will make a good lunch in a couple hours, and supper too!

Need to go get some Braunschweiger now. Store was out last time I looked for it. Got onions and good mustard, wife will make rye bread and I still have half a block of cheese to eat.

I'm out of my favorite Sandeman port. Have to get a bottle at the store in Jackson that keeps it in stock.

But I prefer a good stout or porter with my stronger cheeses.

It should still be out there:

(apparently, Miller makes it, now)

From youngest, Roquefort was always the first favorite. Then, decades ago, it just wasn't around anymore.

Been missing it for a very long time.

thank you

I believe that onion is your missing ingredient.

Sliced onion.

And I like all kinds of stinky cheese.
