Interesting find on the side of the road today

Actually, the gun was found by me, not lost by me. The agency that came to pick it up was able to find the owner that filed the stolen report.

Wonder if it was "stolen" on the same day you found it. Like you originally said, probably left it on his roof or something!

This is my guess under the circumstances I discovered it; no round in the chamber, no mag, and the kydex holster not 15 feet away on a divided 4 lane highway. There are a LOT better places to ditch it. And yes, regardless, getting it back to the owner was my preference.
