Good, it's what he deserves. I've wondered about the trial for awhile and this is the outcome I was hoping for.

Wasn't he former LE? For several reasons, he's going to be the most popular person in Angola.

I believe that was the other now-convicted felon from 'American Guns', Richard Wyatt.

I seemed to remember something from the show about him being a deputy sheriff or something at some point. But looking it up, I don't see anything. So maybe I am mixing him up with someone else.

And apparently he has more charges coming from another jurisdiction. I wonder if they'll drop them since he now has life without.

Especially since he raped two YOUNG girls(kids) multiple times. These folks don't fair well in the prison environment.

You remember correctly. I remember it too. It was either up front as their disclaimer that people shouldn't do what they do. And he held up a badge on a chain around his necklace.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

You all base your conclusions about incarceration on popular myth and media. Do some research, or better yet volunteer. Convicts need good examples and leadership. Exhibit some, stop joking about being raped. It's not funny, and it's not justice.
