Wonder if these shitheels gave a second of thought, prior to lighting up of course, to the effect that seeing someone burn alive would have on bystanders and especially on the paramedics and other responders who would have to deal with the result. I really don't want to know what the smell of charred flesh in the confined space of the back of an ambulance or helicopter would be like.

Yes, it's preposterous for this "Dr. Kritee" to say that this was not a suicde. In the textbook sense of the word, this was a suicide:
sui·cide | \ ˈsü-ə-ˌsīd
Definition of suicide:
1a : the act or an instance of taking one's own life voluntarily and intentionally
The man's friends and family can assign to his actions whatever meaning or purpose they wish or believe, but this was a suicide by immolation. Period.
