OK, probably everyone else here already knows it, but I didn’t discover it until today.

In any sub-forum, such as The Lounge, there are five columns with these headers: Topic, Topic Starter, Replies, Views, and Last Post.

If you’re interested in a particular thread you can click the member name in the Last Post column, and you’ll be taken directly to that post. Neat! I must be a dotard for not discovering that earlier.

Agree that's a great feature.

A big plus is the font color of the member's name in that column turns red once you've clicked on it. So when you come back later you can tell at a glance if you have read the last post in that thread or not.

My thanks for making that absolutely clear drabfour. But I have to say that I think the explanation in my OP was pretty good.

Question for drabfour: What software tool did you use to make the orange oval?

There are time when I want to do something like this, or highlight some text on an image, and I don't have a clue. I use Mac, not Windows, if that makes a difference.

I don't know. Seems like he's got enough on his plate.

Direct messaging. There is none, but some years ago someone was griping about the lack of a DM feature, and it became sort of a joke. Anyway, it is all in the waiver.

It's almost exactly not unlike the PM feature.
