Other than Bosch, I have not found much on Amazon video. I believe they are focusing on building out their market fresh food delivery business. I cancelled my last two items -oil filters and cancelled my Prime membership. During the same time, I ordered hydraulic hoses form two different companies across country and received them both. Filters still were not going to ship for another 5 days. I can go to NAPA. Prime leads to too much impulse buying anyway

Update: The item I ordered April 18th was shipped on May 11th at 8 pm. They’re too good to me. On April 18 I ordered something covered by Prime which stated “In Stock - Ships from and sold by Amazon.com”. Ten days later it hasn’t even shipped and they say to expect it May 20. Another item ordered with it missed their promised delivery date as well but they claim I may actually get that one tonight. Too bad the person who it’s for flew out yesterday. What gets to me is they always blame it on distance/cost yet the delays are almost entirely due to them taking their time getting around to handing the stuff over to the shippers they keep blaming. It’s like Alaska and Hawaii orders get processed last. When I visit my daughter in Reston, VA I get things the next day and sometimes that same day with no funny business about sending it out. Much of the stuff on Amazon is the same price elsewhere. I buy a lot direct from he manufacturers websites now. They ship quicker and for free or reasonably priced usually. This message has been edited. Last edited by: P210,

I've sworn off Amazon, but my wife not so much. She just ordered two items last night, both listed as Prime Items. They both shipped today, neither is scheduled to arrive until May 8th. This, in my opinion, is nothing more than a money saving move by Amazon. “Government exists to protect us from each other. Since their "prioritizing" I've been ordering more from Amazon Marketplace sellers when I'm on their site, and from other retailers when I just blow Amazon off altogether. I've also ordered stuff direct from manufacturers a few times, especially after discovering how they cope with these trying times ("lets put most everything on sale and ship for free, and to hell with our normal e-biz partners"). I get it that these are stress-laden times, even for a far-reaching behemoth like Amazon. But their choices as to what is 'essential' is confounding. Last week I ordered a 3M headlight lens clearcoat packet in no real hurry to receive, yet got it a mere six hours later. Yet more important items, like masks and sanitizer, aren't even available to us plebeian folk no matter how far out the actual delivery will happen. Since I use Amazon for streaming music and video, it's still worth it to keep my Prime membership. But the retail buying side isn't nearly so attractive as it used to be, not when Best Buy, Newegg, Costco, Target or Adidas (to name a few that I've ordered from during the pandemic) can get me what I want or need for less money and a generally much faster delivery timeframe. -MG -MG

I'm ready to be done with Amazon now. I have been on chat with them 4 times now over 10 days. They keep telling me my item will be cancelled within 48 hours. Then 2 days later it is not cancelled. Today after my chat I got an email that my item has a new delivery date of May 5. However, the item still shows as "not in stock and no estimate when it will be in stock." So I'm in perpetual circle with them and no way out except take the loss on my reward points. These go to eleven.

Who is the carrier? If it's not Amazon Logistics, don't blame it on Amazon. הרחפת שלי מלאה בצלופחים

I cancelled my orders and then Prime. Reordered everything through walmart.com and a generator through Costco Tuesday evening. I have shipment tracking labels on all of them. Here is a mask, but they are currently out of N95 https://republicanlegion.com/p...20_mask_made_in_usa/

^ My item showed up on May 1st. I have no idea who shipped it because I wasn't home when it came. And because the package is so destroyed there's no way to read the shipping label. Honestly I have no idea how it even got here, there's no shipping address or bar code on it that's legible, much of the shipping label is missing (and the packaging it was affixed to.) Some of the return address is legible, but not all. The item itself is destroyed, something I would have thought fairly indestructible. lol _____________________________________________________ Sliced bread, the greatest thing since the 1911.

This must have been a few years ago. With inflation, today kids would gripe that it wasn't $50.
