At this point I’d take a bunch of rain, it has been dry the last part of the summer in South Texas. My yard is almost dead from lack of rain.

Just looked it up, even though ‘official’ hurricane season goes until Nov 30, the main season is mid Aug- mid Oct. I think the memo can be written that there was enough this season.

It’s time to shift to early snow in the NW mountain States.

I think it’s time to back away from weather news.

If it’s a serious hurricane, you will have plenty of time to evacuate, decide what to do, etc.

But to be worried about something that hasn’t even developed into a storm, after two quite serious hurricanes have hit your area (and you are still alive and kicking), is a bit ridiculous.

Relax, enjoy the nice Florida weather and rain, and if becomes a serious storm and is within 3 days of hitting, that’s when you should take notice.

A hurricane is a gift that keeps on giving. Recovery is a long process. People still have nightmares about storms that happened decades ago.

Not just Hurricanes, add Tornado, Earthquake, Sunami, to the list, any traumatic situation as such for those in the direct path would cause a form of PTSD....

Yeah, when those weather lumps start getting together you never know what might happen. It could turn into a weather orgy, and who knows what sort of beast might be spawned by that!

I'm not really trying to make light of it. I'm sure you southeast folks have had your fill of it, and I hope Milton was the last of it for this year.
