I finished the $30 factory bedliner and found a tonneau cover for fifty bucks. Done just about all of the interior modifications that I think I would want. Had the same wheels on it for a while and started turning over a few ideas. I was thinking about getting a set of moons for my truck. They can be found for 14, 15, 16, and even 17 inch wheels. I was able to find five 20" steel wheels for $12 each and the tires are on sale for $64. Has anyone seen moon caps for 20s or should I let this idea go?

I've seen them on show cars, but not sure if they are mad produced or custom.

I've been partial to baby moons on larger wheels. It's that an option for you?

I thought about that too, but didn't know if the beauty rings could be found. May have to paint the outside of the wheel silver if I went this route.

The wheels themselves don't allow for center caps other than what can be held on with the lug nuts. I would have to make something to hold the baby moons to the wheel.

I was also thinking about making a hub mount for a GoPro to record from the wheel hub. Video of sidewall deflection and camber curves? Yeah, I've still got a few crazy ideas left. Big Grin

Oooohhhh! You're talking about hubcaps. I thought this was about.... Uh. No, don't know where you can find anything like that.

Quick search on Duck Duck Go, not Google, found this:

MOON Disc Saturn 20

My first thought was of the 2300-mile one up there.

Interesting. Kinda spendy, but better than what I have been able to find so far (nothing). Thinking the fasteners would be a way to keep the things from flying off.

Thanks.

Don't know if they are still in business but Honest Charlies Speed Shop used to have some of that kind of thing. A local guy that went to Bonneville regularly always had a H C decal on his car.

Try J.C. Whitney. They seem to have most everything vehicle related.

Charlies has some neat stuff! I could get carried away in there.

I did like how they look on the Magnum. Makes me want to have my truck sit lower...
