There is another vid out there about a dog that won't eat its meal until the owner goes through four minutes of
"Preparing" it on the stove over the sink and in the microwave.

It's all an act.

Not for me. I like to control my dogs, not the other way around. Even as I say that, I realize they've trained me to open the door for them so they can go out and do their business.

But when I put their food in their dish, I make them wait at a distance before I say Ok and they can rush over.

One of them is quirky with their late night snacks when I give them a glucosamine vitamin every other day, an 8 in 1 vitamin every day, a treat, and then a teeth cleaning chew. One of them, just about every other day won't accept the vitamin from me; I have to hand it to my wife and she'll take it from my wife.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Pippin demands steak, spaghetti, scrambled eggs and other treats when I make them.

Somebody loved him very much before we got him and spoiled him rotten. You have to feed him with his own cockatoo spoon.

A little different, but I have one African grey that refuses to eat anything off the spoon until everyone else has a taste.. yes, she’s had to take medication in the past.

Also, an Amazon that demands any food we have, particularly pizza and French fries (previous owner must’ve loved junk food).

Prima Donna pup Big Grin

Our Aussie eats apple, banana, carrots, lettuce, etc. Her favorite treat is ice cubes any time you walk into the kitchen which she gets by pushing one of those “That was easy” buttons.
