So much with vehicles comes down to attempt with ‘statements’. Of course many of us don’t have our ears tuned to listening. And of course those statements can be nonsense. I’ve seen the phenomenon at the gun range. You may be content with that Savage 110 in 30-06, but I have this $5k custom rifle. Mind you, the quarry is a 120 lb deer at 70 yards. I’d kinda think the market for a $620+k EV vehicle would be rather tiny. Saving the world isn’t any part of it.

Not sure what the message is here, but I suspect it's more about them successfully giving another pathway to be considered to buy another Ferrari in exchange for buying this shitbox. This is a way more expensive game than having to buy $10-15K in jewelry in order to even be considered for a Rolex purchase by many ADs. Imagine if you bought that car, what your monthly insurance would be. Yea...if you can afford the car, you can afford the insurance. _________________________________________________________________________ “A man’s treatment of a dog is no indication of the man’s nature, but his treatment of a cat is. It is the crucial test. None but the humane treat a cat well.” -- Mark Twain, 1902

While the market is tiny it's still there, lots of Chinese millionaires, the lux market is doing well with supercars for now. So much so FL passed the superspeeder law to reign in the high speed passes. People will buy it just to speculate, or to prove they are on the A list for Ferrari..

Just think, no more filling up at the gas pump. I don’t believe the break even point is even 200 years in the future, insurance & others costs will eat one up. And then we can look at simply ‘saving the planet’. Those numbers are likely not favorable either. My son came home the other day, he recently bought a Steyr bolt rifle in 50 BMG. I’ve never felt the need, but seems kinda cool. I bought a few rounds to try out, near $6 a pop.

You are spot on. Ed Bolian of Vinwiki explains the steps one must go through to become a VIP. This video deals specifically with Ferrari however, other brands have "requirements". You aren't buying a Porsche GT3RS unless you have the necessary creed and resources. Ed tells a good story and has dealt with exotic cars for some time, he knows the topic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOMjp3OhxLY Let me help you out. Which way did you come in?

People who buy Ferrari's don't care about the cost of fuel or insurance, nor breaking even on the purchase. It's status and a gateway to better Ferrari's and you can give it to your wife or teenager to drive vs giving them the keys to your million dollar plus SF90 Stradale

Ferrari marketing sounds very much like Rolex AD marketing. I have a Rolex, and inquired about purchasing another. Well, if you're not a member of the club, so to speak.......... NRA Life

If I had the money I definitely would own a Ferrari, maybe several, but buying cheaper cars, in order to be considered for the privilege of buying more expensive cars? Wow, that’s some genius marketing and psychological manipulation. Imagine selling a product that people want so bad, that you get to tell them how many and what kinds of products they may, upon you’re approval buy. No one's life, liberty or property is safe while the legislature is in session.- Mark Twain

Luce sells for $40,000,000 Well, technically, that was a charity auction and Chassis 0, but still. You only have integrity once. - imprezaguy02
