How long have your had your moustache?
Watching the thread on Sam Elliot got me thinking about my upper lip hair - spelled moustache or mustache. I started mine in 1968 and cut it off once in boot camp. I grew it back in March of 1969 when I got out of Boot Camp.

Since then, I have never removed it or even trimmed it. Near as I can tell, that's about 53 years. Only 2 people I know have seen me without it. My younger brother and a guy that played bass in a rock band in high school. My wife of 47 years has never seen me without it.

How about you?

I'm sorry if I hurt you feelings when I called you stupid - I thought you already knew - Unknown

Since 1996. I shaved it off once, but immediately let it grow back.

Haven't trimmed it since 1969? Fu Manchu?

Always been clean shaven, never any interest in acquiring facial hair.

Although I do recall that one time, a chick I was hitting on in a bar told me she thought I'd look good in a moustache. Stupid me, I didn't pick up on what she was hinting at, and she went home with some other guy.

Beard & mustache; about 3 months this time. My facial hair comes and goes on a whim.
Less red and more white these days. But then again, I was in my 40s before I could grow facial hair w/o looking like I had the mange.

I started mine back about 1971. First son was born, and I had it when we went to visit parents so they could see their first grandson. He'll be 51 in July so I had it before that.

I use to buy beer when I was 18 so none of my friends would let me shave it off, my brother had one as well, but he shaved his off thought he looked terrible, so I kept mine going. 43 years

Only shaved it off once since 1979 for a couple weeks. During the movie Tombstone, my wife leaned over and said to grow my mustache back.

The only time I've not had one is during boot camp.

Haven't shaved the rest of my face since the day I ETSed.
