A little update. My son got out of the hospital late Friday afternoon and is in his home. Has to give himself antibiotics through a picc line once a day and take care of his wound and vacuum thingie once a day. Has a home wound care nurse come over every other day to check things out. Dietitian put the fear of God into him and is eating good and taking his meds.

I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. It meant a lot and I feel in debt to you all. I know, as does he and his mother, that it all helped.

Good to hear he has made it home…much more comfortable for him. If he keeps on top of his treatment regiment and has patience he’ll be fine.
