I live in WA state, greater Seattle area. Hard “blue no matter who” country. <BR><BR>Today is the primary, most partisan races have a single republican while some don’t have any republican candisates. One has a third party I’ve never heard of and all have multiple democrats running. We are now a “jungle primary’ state where top two go to general. <BR><BR>So my dilemma… vote my true conscious as I did with Ross Perot (flush the vote), keep voting republican as usual, or knowing it will be a dem winner put my vote on the least loony dem. <BR><BR>Assuming a republican makes it to the general in Nov, they will get my vote. I’m in much the same situation as you here in California.

I voted for the best Republican candidate in the primary. They came in a distant 5th.

Next week is the actual election vote. Two Democratic candidates are the only ones on the ballot.

I can’t vote for either. They both state in their platform that they will stand up to Trump etc.

Did I mention that this is to replace Swalwell. Yah, that’s my district and I have absolutely no representation…

It’s truly frustrating.

I voted other..wich would be pack up and move to a free state. I couldnt live under that rule!!

I live in upstate NY. I'll never vote for a Democrat. And that's all I've got to say about that.

With the Dem party the way it is, the only one in the country I would vote for is John Fetterman.

In Michigan at least for the primaries I want the least radical Democrat to win the U.S. Senate primary race here.

While Hayley Stevens is nauseating I fear that Abdul El-Sayed is truly dangerous having aligned himself with AOC, Bernie, Warren, all the radical lefties.

I picked principle. I also moved from the Seattle area myself two and a half years ago. I still work in WA state (Spokane), but I'm not going to subject myself to that cesspit's laws any longer than I have to.

My mother in law has vascular dementia and is in an adult family home here. I’m her POA and I promised my wife we wouldn’t leave while she was still with us.

My hope is to exfil at some point, but I don’t have a say in the timing.

When I lived in CA years ago, I voted a few years in the "jungle primary, always voting Republican (even though most were RINOs). But I stopped voting altogether though my last one was the 2016 Presidential Election; in 2016, Gov. Jerry Brown signed a bill to legalized ballot harvesting in the state, basically making the CA election process utterly useless. But by then, we were readying our house to sell. IMO, today, submitting a ballot in CA is the same as throwing it in the gutter; in 2018, Orange County turned from red to blue overnight, every state house seat went Democrat because of individuals turning in hundreds of ballots at a time each, all legal, at poll places. And now, every single registered voter automatically gets a mail-in ballot.

Unfortunately here, there’s no real “Republican” on a ballot. If there is, there’s unfortunately no way they get elected.
Fortunately, there’s more and more right thinking Americans here! Why? You can thank the Dems! A lot of people are getting sick of their lies and bullshit. The Black Community here got pissed off that a lot of cash went to illegal aliens instead of them. There’s also a decent amount that got pissed off with the “mostly peaceful protest” and everything else that happened since 2020.
So s-l-o-w-l-y, there’s more Republicans here.

Years ago there was a Southpark episode where the kids at school had to vote for the school mascot.
A big giant douche or a turd sandwich was their choices.
That’s pretty much every election here. I’m looking at the Mayoral election, there’s about 4 giant douches and 4 turd sandwiches to choose from now.

I think the only option in such places, is to back a libertarian.

The Republican is never going to win. I think sane/sober libertarian candidates may be able to do well.

No such thing as a moderate Dem, even Fetterman votes in the high 90s with his party.

This to me is about the ONLY reason to stay. A family member in need without the ability to beat feet. Have your ducks in a row and when the time comes hit the road

Here in the WI Gov race Tiffany is a great candidate on the Republican side. The left has a handful of misfits, the one near the top is F Hong.

She’s such a loon that even the current Gov and Bernie Sanders won’t endorse her. What does that tell you?

I closed my eyes, held my nose and voted for her in the primary. Again, Tiffany is already going to be on the ballot in November.

The final is this Tuesday, Hong is expected to win on the Dem side.
