We went in August and stayed in Jackson. Had a great time, it was absolutely beautiful, lots of wildlife. Lots of driving between sites, It's a massive park but it was worth it. I may have enjoyed the Grand Tetons more, it's close. The cruise down the snake river was amazing as well. The city of Jackson was cool too. If you go I would recommend stopping in for a drink at the Million Dollar Cowboy!
