These two have taken over the house and stole our hearts. I apologize for making another post, truly I do. And I apologize to Stickman for the timing. I also hope this can be seen as a continuation of life from Sylvester to these two, circle of life sort of situation. And finally to Para for pushing me over the edge. My wife and I had been talking about a cat for the girls for 2-3 years now. So glad we kept the brother and sister together.

Truth be told there were 4 of them, the other two were more calico and less orange, very wild as they were all caught as strays. We just couldn’t take all four. My kids have become attached and the male has taken a liking to Jelly, my ACD. Two weeks ago Jelly wouldn’t have let another mammal live. Now she plays with the boy, the girl still hasn’t warmed up to her yet. Jelly is a bit too rough still but they’ll get bigger and hold their own. I’m sure in time Jelly will be a triplet to their duo.

My wife loves them too, which is weird because she doesn’t care much for any animal besides Jelly. At the end of the day, I’ve increased the “Ginger crew” substantially in this house. It’s now myself, a red heeler, and two orange tabby cats. Better yet, the boy makes the total breakdown in house, six females and now TWO males!

The three of them have an appointment on the 26th. Gonna take all 3 in together which I’m sure will be a stressful cluster F. They are now both on Purina pro plan wet and dry food four times a day, alternating. Jelly has been on pro plan for 4 years now which has served her well. In addition to mom’s human food treats every day at lunch.

The male always goes to sleep after his sister.

Then she wakes up before him and licks or antagonizes him.

Jelly is a very confused but sweet member of the crew. That’s what I was most concerned with.

Nine years to retirement! Just waiting!

The SIGform family has lost a Sylvester and gained a Ginger and a Sprinkles.

Politicians seem to have forgotten that they work for us, not the other way around.
