we aren't taking our usual vacation this year but are going to spend a few days in and around the Smokey Mountains National Park. We have been a bunch of times and are looking for new things to do. While scoping out a place to rent I noticed two lakes relatively close that have boat rentals. Cherokee lake and Douglas Lake. Does anyone have experience boating on either or both? Any recomendations?

both nice lakes. Douglas would be a little further upstream and maybe just a hair cleaner. Cherokee probably has better fishing.
