I have lived the greatest adventure |
Okay, I've been banging my head against the wall on this one. We have 2 apps that talk to each other by creating files in a common folder. App A writes a file, waits for App B to read the file, process some information, and write a response file. App A waits for the response file, reads it and continues processing. No, I didn't want it done this way in the first place, but that's the way it is. So after last week's Windows Server Updates, the return process, where App A waits for the response file, moved from around 1 second to 5-6 seconds, and I can't figure out why. Any constructive suggestions? Phone's ringing, Dude.

maybe a long shot check the error logs to see if you are getting kerberos auth failures and the system is falling back to a different auth. https://www.bleepingcomputer.c...-server-auth-issues/

Thanks. I checked the Event Viewer and don't see any kerberos issues.
