Do you ever sit in your vehicle to let the song finish?
After running errands today as I pulled in the driveway, Simple Man was playing and I sat in the suburban till it finished. Are there songs you sit for till the end?

I have. Hopefully it's not Thick as a Brick, Close to the Edge or Tails From Topographic Oceans. Big Grin

I've done it.
Thankfully, I can roll in and close the garage door, so the neighbors don't think I'm nuts just sitting there.

Then again, some of them may think I'm nuts anyway.... Confused

He may not like it--probably doesn't; I don't--but he knows it's so, and knowing is the first step in coping with it."

Just about everyday going to work. I sit and finish the song in the parking lot, and cry because I don’t want to go to work.

Almost daily. And I go to work early so I can listen to music before I clock in. Gives me a Zen like calm.

Not for the longest time. Decades. I no longer listen to music in my vehicle.

When I was young, yes. Now, no.
My wife still does, though.
We're both approaching 70.

The thing I miss most about my Tacoma was that it let the songs continue to play after I shut off the ignition. Only opening the door would turn the stereo off.

To answer your question, yes. I do that often.

Years ago my drive home was just short of the length of Dark Side of the Moon. Occasionally I'd sit in my car listening to Eclipse on full blast.

Yes, all the time. And I don't really care if the neighbors think I'm nuts.

Same here, and quite often.

Maybe when I was young. I am old and boring now.
