Android Chrome screen flickering/static Login/Join

A few weeks ago Chrome started getting this weird static when certain pages open. It seems to mostly happen with ads and reminds me of snow on a TV back in the day. Has anyone heard of this or know how to fix it?

i only use chrome when i need a page translated, firefox on pc/laptops/cell phones is my choice.

Chrome has been blinking occasionally on my note 10.
