I’ve read / heard of suspicions along these lines for years.

Yeah, it was a suspicious event. The 'new' theory of the crime has the Sherrif shooting himself in the face! They even have an 'expert' to explain that a person may shoot themself in the face. I find that preposterous. Present that to a grand jury and see what they think. At the very least, I believe they need an accomplice to make the new theory work. I don't take it seriously but the folks working on it think they have accomplished enough to make it public.

I haven't looked closely in to all of this, but it stinks to high heaven.

Yeah... it seems it's just all about the publicity.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."
-- Justice Janice Rogers Brown

No it is NOT. It's OVERTIME for those doing the "investigation", so it's well beyond any type of Shit. BTW IMO Turkey Shit is the absolute worst.

I've stopped counting.

Camera time for the DA. My guess is he's running for office without many other accomplishments.

The “new evidence” supported by “modern forensic science and investigative techniques” solved nothing and proved nothing. All it did in the name of so-called justice was indicting a person who cannot defend himself against the accusation, while making the DA look like some kind of hero, and at the same time tearing the Pusser family apart (Pauline’s younger brother cheered the DA on, while her granddaughter blasted the accusation against her grandfather).

“It's not really 'new' evidence.

"Pauline Mullins Pusser's body is exhumed from her grave in Adamsville Cemetery, in Adamsville, Tenn., in 2024"

She died in '67, 2024's pretty new.
But that's the rub, that wasn't some inconsequential task/cost.

Yes. They got some modern speculation that miraculously supports the new theory of death. Nothing really 'new' about any of this.. it was rumors during the first trial.
