Your thoughts on Joel Quenneville returning to the NHL
Maybe somebody can convince me that he deserves another chance to assume that responsibility. The way I understand it, he chose to not deal with what happened to his player, and lie publicly about his knowledge of it. Why he chose to do that would be speculation on my part, but I’ve got a pretty strong idea.
If I’ve got the facts wrong let me know; But if that is what happened, I can’t understand giving him another shot at it.

Not surprised. If he can coach they do not care. Justin Tucker is another example. The Ravens let him go as a football decision, not for his alleged behavior. There are different standards for professional sports.

Joel Quenneville is directly responsible for that kid being sexually assaulted, among other things. He should be banned for life. But as ZSMICHAEL said, different standards.

No professional or amateur sports institution or league should be able to fade this type of heat forever, and the individuals involved in the Chicago episode should remain blacklisted. In my opinion, that includes Quenneville.

I've been involved in amateur and minor pro hockey for 50 years, and the problems in our sport are, unfortunately, no different than those in others.

Part of the problem is the unending coaches carousel that goes on in the NHL. He's one who was on it, and has produced in the past. If I had a say with a team I wouldn't touch him. Can't speak for someone else.
