I have a lot of grandkids/people coming and going so I keep the HD shotgun in the safe most of the time. I have a nightstand gun that get locked up when people come over. I am looking for a secure wall mount to put in the closet for a FN SLP or a AR. I haven’t great luck with bio metrics but not going to rule them out. There seems to be several on the market but no reviews that were consistent or didn’t feel generated. Thanks

I use the Shotlock wall mounted safe. Has a simplex style lock so no electronics or biometrics.

^^ yeah a deadbolt on the closet door will be way cheaper than the shot lock

I have this V-Line closet safe bookmarked for a future house renovation. I'm not sure when it comes time if I will pay for it, but that's what I'd like to have for a fast access closet safe.

I just stayed with friends who have the V-Line cabinet in a closet off their main hall. Works well, and the cabinet won't be easily removed from the wall.
