Syrian tank and Turkish armored personnel carrier in close range battle

I'd just sit still and shoot them in a matter of seconds, would've been easy, but less funny.
They were chasing each other around for nearly a minute.
Serious question - would the barrel drop low enough if they got on the side?

On an Abrams? Yeah, except from approximately 4-7 o'clock. Then the barrel would jump up to clear the back deck.

In World War II, there are documented cases of Russian T34 tanks, whose guns/turrets had been rendered ineffective, ramming German tanks in close combat, and causing serious damage to the German tanks.

Never bring an APC to a tank fight. Oh, wait nevermind.

Not to mention the crew inside that probably had a serious change in attitude after being rammed

We had a dude jump a ~2-3ft dirt berm/hump in an M1A1 at 50+mph with a long approach...
I think the loader broke two ribs when 65tons landed and threw him against the side wall / comms box. Loaders just sit on little boat-seat-like swivel seats, no seatbelts, no cushions or padding anywhere, pokey metal shit everyfuckingwhere.
I wrecked one, once, nose first into a defensive fighting position hole, at a goofy angle no less, ass of the tank sticking up the air, only one front corner touching the bottom, had to be towed out, was a big deal, broke an armored skirt panel, even, was one of two assholes of the day/night and week.
(Not my fault, thankfully, TC wasn't helping me watch very well, while we used Gen2 NV with terrible depth perception, in pitch balck night, 2am, in wide open fields, and he had me turn right into a big hole in the ground, big enough for a M1 to drive through and hide in, that I didn't even know was there.
Had been a driver for all of 3mos maybe. Heart of Desert Storm run up.

Did the APC (113?) have any GOOD options? Sure, he could disengage, but he would then get taken out by the main gun or even the 50 cal (maybe a 12.7).
What options did the APC have?

Too bad someone in the APC didn't have an RPG.

Looked like the door in the ramp was open. I was waiting for someone to hop out and zap the tank. LOL

Ramming the rear engine compartment is the best option or, jam-up and break one of the treads or, break the rear sprocket.

At the end of the day, the quality of the tank crew is what would make the difference, along with modern tech. I suspect the Syrian tank was “crewed” by militants, given their lack of obvious tactical ability. Had it been a seasoned tank crew, it might have quickly turned into a flaming APC.

Neither expended any ordnance. Perhaps the ROE didn’t allow it, so they were just harassing each other.
