We swapped water for bourbon in the meat marinate. Turned out great. Also used to order more pizza than we needed on Saturday night, usually a "works" style. Sunday morning I would scramble a batch of eggs and scrape the toppings off into the eggs. That was good, too.

Found out the hard way that less is more on Pizza toppings, way to easy to load it up with too much.

I had this hankering one night for Rigatoni with a creamy mushroom, sun-dried tomato type sauce. I had fresh shrooms, but wasn't working from a recipe and thought, "Hell...you can put enough cream, Parmesan, and Romano on ANYTHING and it'll be fine". WRONG!!! I don't know what the hell I did, but the spice and ingredient combination was absolutely HORRIBLE. Could only stand about 3 bites and had to toss it all.

Cup 'o Noodles made with quinine water. Yuck.

Nacho chips made with brie cheese. Seemed like a good idea after five beers.

Meat Loaf made with Pork and Beef from a recipe taken from a well know cook book.

Ended up so greasy that GF and I had heart burn for nearly a week.

But, it tasted good.

Back in college, I used to make spaghetti for the guys with tomato sauce and paste, spaghetti sauce seasoning pack, italian sausage, and dried noodles. Super easy and decent tasting. One night I decided to use lamb chunks found in the fridge instead of sausage; chopped it up finely and used it in the sauce. It was nasty, nobody finished their plate.

A buddy and I bought a case of Blue Moon beer and we stopped in an unfamiliar grocery store to get an orange. When we left I thought to myself that was an expensive orange. Turned out we brought a grapefruit, Blue Moon and grapefruit do not pair well.

Back in college I made strawberry daiquiris with gin. Nothing like pine and strawberry together.
