Recommendations for quality driver bits (hex and torx)
I'm looking for some nice, precisely sized and durable driver bits in both metric and standard for both hex and torx screws. Tired of crap Chinesium and not having the right size bits for my torque screwdriver when I need to install something.

Recommendations?

I have Bondhus, Wihi, & Ridgid. The smaller sizes, T6 thru T8 do not holdup well for all brands. Bondhus seems to be the best. Wihi bits are OK but the drivers are crap in the small sizes. Ridgid drivers do not hold up. When I mean not hold up they distort when used once or twice on knife scales.

Wera and Wiha bits, in general, are good (reputationally).

Project Farm tested some Phillips impact bits, and their recommendation was Milwaukee branded bits:

I've always liked Chapman. Made in the US, too.

I like Felo.

If you want/need USA made, I think Zephyr or Apex still make them.

Another vote for Chapman.
I bought one of their sets a while back and am pleased with the quality of the bits.

We use Apex bits for the airplanes we work on.

Wiha is pretty much my go-to for stuff like that. I did buy a ton of Bondhus bits for our technicians tool boxes and they held up really well. Bondhus is also American made in MN.
