Para's post on tourniquets has inspired me to give 4 CATs away, as my first karma, to those who do not have one. My email is in my profile, first 4 to send me an email with a shipping address gets them.

Please be very careful ordering tourniquets from places like eBay or Amazon. There are a number of fake Chinese CAT copies out there, some of which are fairly close in appearance to the real thing but do not perform like the real thing. (Sometimes these sellers may not even realize that their CATs are not the real deal...)
You're much better off ordering direct from North American Rescue, or at least from an established trauma medical supply company like Chinook Medical or Rescue Essentials, even if it means paying a couple bucks more than just getting whatever's cheapest on Amazon/eBay.
It'd be a shame for you or someone else to bleed out in an emergency because you unknowingly ended up with a fake. Take the time (and spend a little bit more if necessary) to ensure you're getting a legitimate CAT.
