Looks like Russia is moving heavy armor and self propelled howitzers via rail to Crimea and eastern occupied areas of Ukraine.

Not only do I expect Russia to invade Ukraine, I expect China to move against Taiwan while this administration holds power.

This is a direct result of the weakness of the Biden administration. Putin has ZERO fear of that fool.

I think the Russian Southern Command would move equipment toward Rostov-na-Donu, not toward Crimea. Putin will test Biden soon.

Well I guess I will have to dust off my old combined arms tactics and manuals.

When I first enlisted way way way back in 1992 as a 19D (Cav Scout) it was to stop the threat of the Red Horde from coming across the Fulda Gap.

I remember the first briefing we received at boot camp at Fort Knox by the Chaplain. I will never forget when he said: When the balloon goes up, you future 19D's are the roadblock/speed bump against the Red Horde until we can get the Abrams warmed up.

It is sad to say but no foreign leader fears our current administration nor our military.

I told a Chinese friend that lives in Canada that the CCP could significantly improve its appearance and "P.R" to other countries by A) recognizing Taiwan as a sovereign country and giving up the "but it's really China" silliness, and B) letting HK be like it was under British rule.

For some reason they are too proud to realize these two things that are really not that big a deal would do a lot for their world image.

That said, it makes sense to expand their reach now, given the fact that they own Biden via Hunter. I have no doubt they have incriminating evidence and surveillance video of Hunter committing crimes in China (underage girls, or girls who look underage and will be presented to the media as such). Same for Putin who behaved himself under Trump, but did a land grab under Obama and will do it again under Biden. Not like we are going to get into a shooting war with the Russians over the Ukraine, or with China over Taiwan.

Honest question...if you were Putin or Xi and had the same environment unfold before you, wouldn't you take full advantage of it? The US isn't weak with Biden at the 'stern', its rudderless and flacid. Every opponent/enemy of the US should be laying out their plans to do as they please for the next few years knowing full well the US is completely unengaged and rowing in circles.
