My neighbor is the artist in residence on the Gettysburg Military National Park from March 15th to April 1st.

She is creating a memorial quilt using pieces of fabric from military uniforms. The pattern is inspired by quilts made during the Civil War.

She could use more military uniforms to recycle the materials for the quilt. Any branch of the military is fine - any condition of the uniform is also fine. She will pay for shipping.

If anyone is willing to donate uniforms it would be very much appreciated. If you would like, your name will be listed as a donor of the project. The finished quilt will become part of the permanent collection of the Gettysburg Museum.
