While I am in very Rural NE Oregon in the desert I still put a sling on my new M1A as well as downloading some Hornady .308 rounds from my HK mag and loaded them into the 10 round mag and two five round mags for the M1A.

I then reloaded the HK mag with some South African Milsurp ball ammunition that I have had for two decades.

AR-15 Magazines loaded, and ARs cleaned and lubed. Precision 30-06 is dialed in.

I hope we stay safe, but I too am a bit uneasy nowadays. I don't leave the house unarmed unless I have to go into the office (at a federal Hydroelectric dam).
