| That’s a shame it looks like this was a man made fire. NC is very DRY right now and desperately could use some rain. We live on a small lake and the water level is almost a foot down from its norm right now it’s the lowest I’ve ever seen our lake. Does anyone know if the top part of Pilot Mountain burned up? I wonder if the part where you park and can walk around the big pinnacle survived? The views from up there are incredible. I remember seeing a section of forest that burned the last time we visited.
