An appeal for adoption of three beautiful kittens
Some of you have seen my posts about Feeny, who was born in our garage to a neighborhood cat last year, and now lives on our property as an outside cat.

A few months back, his mother again became pregnant, and although we didn't plan it, she walked into our house through an open door and had three kittens inside our house, March 14th. These kittens have been in our house ever since. My wife and I have taken very good care of them, and their mother.

Coming up on 11 weeks now, she is all but finished nursing them, and we are going to get her spayed so that this does not happen again.

We have fashioned a nursery out of a downstairs bathroom and mama and the kittens are locked in there at night, with food, water, and two litter boxes- one for her and one for the kittens.

They are litter box-trained and have been eating solid food for five weeks.

There is one male and two females, with the females being so identical in appearance, it's difficult to tell them apart.

We have an older female cat who does not tolerate other cats. With Feeny living outside and coming in perhaps once a day, the situation is manageable, but with three kittens and another adult female in the house now, it's a real chore. Ava, our house cat, is pretty much living upstairs full time now.

We have tried to find homes for them locally, with no luck. Putting them in a shelter is out of the question. I cannot / will not do it. My conscience would consume me. It's going to be hard enough to place them in homes. I love these little guys.

All three are in perfect health. Binocular vision and radar-like hearing. They run, jump, play, talk; they have a large playground that is the first floor of our house and have a tall cat tower to climb. They are fully socialized to people.

This is a real dilemma. We cannot keep them, though we may try to keep one of them and we've been making efforts to introduce these kittens to our older cat, with the results yet to be seen.

I will have to know you through the forum. Someone who never posts and who isn't really a member of the SIGforum family is little better than a complete stranger. We would be willing to drive a fair distance to meet up with someone who thinks they may want one of these beautiful creatures. They are in every respect, ideal kittens.

If someone would take two of them, so that they could stay together, I would be overjoyed.

These pics were taken last month. Naturally, the kittens are a bit bigger now.

Munchkin, the male, who got his name because he was the runt of the litter, but who now has made up for that in size and stamina, is in the center. Anna and Bella, watching their shadows.

Adorable orange tabby's

Para, we are down to a barely managable number of 5 cats, can't take anymnore. Most of them came from the Humane Society on Sugarloaf, Five Forks intersection. Great people and great foster people there

We are also familiar with Furkids, we have adopted a couple from them at Petsmart

https://furkids.org/

Both of these orginizations are very caring and vet people that want to adopt. They would be safe and go to good homes after spaying/nuetering and vaccinations

Thank all the gods that you are in Georgia Para. I am missing my kitties and have been thinking seriously about two new babies, especially orange ones.

But Tacoma seems a long way to go for them. I'm sure they will find a home soon!

If there are shipping costs involved I’ll cover it. I think I finally have Zelle set up. Let me know.

My eyes are puffy and itching just looking at them. But they are adorable.

If Para is open to it we can meet somewhere en route to Wisconsin tomorrow. I’ve talked my wife into the two females.

One of the female is what I'm trying to keep. I should have mentioned that earlier.

Shipping? Thank you, but I'm not so sure that's a good idea. At the very least, it would frighten the Hell out of them.

And tomorrow or anytime in the next few days would not work for me.

Understood, we would be able to come through tomorrow or Saturday only. I know you said the next couple days doesn’t work, but if something changes we’d take the two, male and female.

I figured it would take at least a few days to arrange things. My apologies.

No worries at all, I know our schedule doesn’t allow for much room to work. I’m sure they will find a great home.

Thank you.

Pipe Smoker, it's a very generous offer. I looked into this just now, and the services dedicated to pet transportation are expensive, and they recommend no travel before 16 weeks, which these kittens are a month away from.

My offer stands if you find a way.

ETA: That includes waiting until the kittens are a bit older.

Orange tabbies are quite possibly the best cats of all.

I’d be happy to take both, but I’m a long ways away…

Hope you find them a good home.

My house is full, but I wish I could request the male ginger. Best ever cats.
I’m too far away and my kitty wouldn’t tolerate it.

If you know someone in the military that can ship it's a pretty good savings. I had a dog shipped from Texas to Washington State and the total cost with adoption fees was under $300. I just happened to have a friend stationed at Ft. Sam who did the shipping for me.
