My question: Will the number of those who see the irony of his demise result in a reduction of homicides in any way commensurate with those killed because of the foolish ideals he so publicly espoused?

One would hope those in his city would get the hint (like those in other cities that went along with the "Defund the Police" narrative), that laws have meaning and those who advocate lawlessness or go along to get along with the latest social fad will suffer the consequences of living among savages. This has nothing to do with the degree of melanin in one's skin and everything to do with lifestyle choices, made by offenders or potential victims who should (given common sense) "know" better.
