Well, a loong time ago I fished with a beryllium copper flyrod. It was a delight to use.

Yep. Exactly. They were great. And an overnight in Coke and they were sparkly and new. Smile

Also, used in fuel nozzles to avoid sparks while refueling.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Never new these would be used in so many differing industries. I'll probably never use them for what they are intended. Just add them to my tool box for now. If I did put them in Ebay, I'd post them as being used by Tibbits to arm up Little Boy and Fat Man enroute to target. Maybe a start bid of $6,000.00... Big Grin. Original Tibbits pliers. Watching a nonsparking sledgehammer mushroom is pretty interesting too.
