Eek Big Grin

Rode up to grandson's place and back, ~200 miles round trip. Had to stop every 50 miles and scrape the bugs off my face shield so I could see.

I did a quick 100 mile loop through Farmland WI, lots of riders out, bugs not so much yet. Was great to get out and get some wind therapy.

Looking forward to getting the Scout repaired so I can get back on the road.

Shop estimated 3 weeks for chrome on the new swingarm, then teardown & reassembly once we get the parts home.

Just got my '02 Twin Cam bagger out of the shop last Tuesday. Changed the cam tensioners from mechanical (spring tension) to hydraulic using a Screamin' Eagle kit from the MoCo. Supposed to rain tomorrow or I'd take it.

Was out on the ‘67 BMW R50 yesterday. Beautiful day here in PA. Have already done 2-3 other rides this year on one of the bikes. It has been an exceptionally mild transition from winter into spring this year. Really nice for riding.

Rode up to the sons 240 miles away on Friday and rode back today, 3.5 hours of rain in the way home.

Did about 200 miles yesterday and another 100 today.

So many bugs, so little time.

Got about a 100 miles in today. It’s been spring for a long time here, and it’s only a matter of a few days before Houston’s nasty, humid summer arrives. Then, even morning rides suck below 45 mph.

I rode Saturday about 300 miles on my 2020 R1250 GSA. Started my ride near Philadelphia, rode up to Tobyhanna State Park, Lake Wallempaupack, PA RT 6 to Milford, RT 209 to Delaware Water Gap, south on RT 611 through Easton and then back home. Great ride and saw lots and lots of riders riding solo and in groups.

Finally got mine out on Saturday. Just putted around town as it was only 50 degrees. Next week looks promising.

Bought a manual 2018 Africa Twin a week ago with 1 mile on it. Now has 200 miles on it. It replaced a KLR 650 so it’s a Cadillac to me.

Nice choice, Africa Twin is a big upgrade from a KLR.

I just came back from the dealer where I'm buying a Yamaha Tenere' 700 next month. I went to talk about trading in something on it, it may be my 2016 Africa Twin DCT. I really like the AT but it and the T7 somewhat overlap and I need the space.

I really like the T7 but my next bike will have cruise control! Looking at a KTM 790 Adv R next year. My ST10 has almost 80k and has been dead reliable.

Had to stop every 50 miles and scrape the bugs off my face shield so I could pee.

Yeah, true. I stopped riding 20+ years ago but could not resist the play on words. Visiting AZ I love the clear air and single-floor living. Better on the lungs and joints. Here I am very careful coming down first thing in the morning but loosen up within an hour. Ready for a change; neighbors too close with their grilling.

One great benefit of old age - driving like an old man. My 7 year old truck with 80k is still on factory pads, shoes, discs, and drums.

Just open the shield, take a shot of hot sauce when you leave and open your mouth, bugs got a lotta protein !

I know, I wish the T7 had cruise and troubles wheels. I have a BMW and Harley with those for longer trips though.

I'm glad some of you guys have been able to get out.

I had a very rare, almost-perfect day yesterday.

I took the day off and spent the whole day on the bike. I haven't been able to do that for years. 383 miles, getting back to some places I haven't seen in a long time and had really been missing. Easy, relaxed cruising, deserted roads out in the middle of nowhere, bright blue skies all day. No one else around for miles. Heavenly.

It felt great. I may try to make this a monthly thing through the summer.
