LS1 GTOI don’t think they’re going as fast as the camera makes it loook but…. The camera is not hiding the steepness of the edges either

Maybe twice. Once to get a feel for it & the turns, and a 2nd to bomb down it at speed.
3 times, you start taking risks & die.

second run would get me more than “a stern talking-to” from The Lovely Girlfriend.

Might have to offload a few Seikos to pay for the broken bones

I was kinda thinking those karts needed bigger front wheels.

That sounds about right. Make a memory but then then live to tell about it.

ZSMICHAELThis is the kind of stuff I did when I was ten. We tied my brother to a tricycle and put a salt bag over his head. Then we pushed him down a steep hill. Got in trouble for that one.
Thanks for posting.

There is a place on the north side of Joshua tree monument that is down hill for five miles but it was a lot straighter .
On two separate occasions we clocked skateboarders at 20-25 m.p.h. .

And that's one area where Europe is better than the US. Or at least it was when I lived there. All that litigious civil bullshit isn't really a thing.
Want to ride a sketchy kart down a gravel track on a mountainside? Blow yourself up with giant black-market fireworks? Or get on some sketchy communist-era roller coaster assembled and maintained by Romanian gypsy-carnies?
Go ahead. It's your life. You knew what you were doing...when it goes wrong don't whine about it because you've got nobody to blame but yourself.

PrefontaineI’m game. They have brakes. Just that steep mountain drop at the very beginning to slow down until past it then it’s straight fun. I wouldn’t be in such a big pack either. Looks like a blast to me.
What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

Welcome to the Sigform Mountain Cart invitational, where brains are optional, but testicles are mandatory.
