StarTravelerHappy Thanksgiving, everyone, and for those who are traveling to be with loved ones, go safely!
I'm thankful that my aging parents are still around but am sad that we're not going to be able to spend the day with them today for the first time in decades. My wife is working at the hospital today (while I'm home doing the day-of part of the Thanksgiving meal) so we're going to travel to visit them and hold a mini-Thanksgiving (but something easy like homemade pizza instead of turkey) in a couple of weeks.

rizzleHappy Thanksgiving Everyone! Very special for me this year, I have some property near the Gila river that I spend a lot of time at. There is an old abandoned house with a RV hook up behind it. During the summer two very strong storms came through and toppled two 80 foot salt cedar trees on the roof of the old house ( not much roof damage, the house is a skeleton inside anyway ).
Way too much work for me to deal with.
Two neighbors that I've never met took care of it for me no charge.
Fast forward to yesterday, one neighbor brings over a home made dinner for me, then today the other neighbor brings me one.
Living alone and not cooking much, this was very special to me.
For those that do this for your neighbors, It really is something that is very special.
One of the bestest Thanksgivings I have had a very long time.
