It's all fun and games until someone shoots their pecker off
MARION, Ind. (WPTA21) — A man was sent to the hospital after his gun slipped and accidentally discharged by his groin Thursday.

The Marion Police Department said the incident happened around 6:44 Thursday morning on the walkway near the Girl Scout Cabin in Marion.

The department said Mark Jones was walking when the Hi Point 9 mm handgun he was carrying in his waistband without a holster began to slip.

Jones reached down to adjust the gun and it discharged. The bullet entered just above his penis and exited his scrotum.

The department said Jones did not have an Indiana handgun license. They sent the case to the Grant County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
