https://usat.ly/2y7Na9L Talk about something being on life support for years. I didn't realize they were still around.

I have one for work. My Windows 10 Nokia phone just died (random reboots, very hoot battery) and I had to go back to my Windows 8 phone. Tried to get service on my 10, but no one will touch it. And half my apps won't work on the 8 anymore. Very frustrating! Hopefully we can void this contract and get on the Android platform soon. I shall respect you until you open your mouth, from that point on, you must earn it yourself.

Always thought I would like to have tried one of the Windows phones, but the people that had them would tell me the apps were few and far between that the phone would support and run. 美しい犬

Lack of developer support for their app store killed it. The platform itself wasn't bad at the start, I actually really liked a lot of the early phones I saw. They just never could get traction with developers as the third option.

First, it has not been officially anything. It appears that a senior official made some remarks about it's future or lack of and a shitload of news sources repeated it. That being said it doesn't mean the future of this product is good because it is essentially true even if it is not officially true. The phone actually is a very good phone ~ as good as any Apple or Android ~ however it (an by it I mean people developing apps) just never developed enough apps to keep the interest. It is just business and like anything sales and profits will dictate your future.

I have a Windows phone (don't even know which one)that is a couple of years old and I like it just fine. Of course, I don't do a lot more than make calls, texts, and take pictures with it.

I have a windows phone for work, I hate it, it's the worst. I only use it to make calls, company facebook/IM thingy, and scan docs. If I need to google something I pull out my personal phone, same with if I need to check my MICROSOFT OFFICE calendar or email. How is that the android is better at office than Microsoft is? I even turned in my tablet and said I'll just use my personal phone instead. Not even sure what kind of windows tablet it was, but it sucked too. If it's truly dead, I am asking my boss if it's OK to put a few rounds through my windows phone. Jesse Sic Semper Tyrannis
