I went searching for .30 cal. Ammo boxes .

I need a half dozen. Found a half a pant load that needs to be in something.

Turns out that they are twice the price they used to be. Eek

I am wondering if
Since corn fuel is impeading the fossil fuel world enough,
Could that be driving the price of plastics up considerably ?

Hey they gotta make money somewhere.

And gun cases, they are way the heck more expensive.

$5.00 is the least expensive that I have found
at Wal Mart.
Will be looking at them this week.
Might end up going with the $6.99 jobs

Somehow over the years I've ended up with a few plastic 30 cal cans (aproximate) but nothing beats the old or even new metal ones...

I’m gonna guess, based on the price, Bendy is looking for a cartridge box that holds 20-50 rounds, not for an ammo can thingy.

Something like this:

Doubtful for several reasons:
  • For most domestic transportation (e.g. truck and rail), the combustible fuel of choice is diesel. For most international transportation (e.g. shipping), the combustible fuel of choice is heavy fuel oil. Both diesel and heavy fuel oil come out lower plates in the distillation column than gasoline.

  • The supermajority of plastics come from either cracking naptha after it leaves the distillation column or from cracking natural gas.
  • Ethanol made from corn and is injected into gasoline to lower reid vapor pressure. It has no effects on the distillation column at the refinery as the ethanol injection typically takes place at the distribution terminal loading rack which maybe next door to the refinery or in a different time zone from the refinery.

I have seven of them they do what I want.

If the Wal Mart boxes look too cheap , I will opt for the H.F. ones

Check Costco, if available. Mine recently had 4 US made plastic cans for $20. The HF ones are from China, if that matters.
