Update 2/6*** On a plane now from Baltimore to Arizona! Gonna grab a puppy and then 2 eager kids in New Mexico before driving back to Maryland! Since only my daughter is excited with me I’ll share the excitement with Sigforum! I should have Jelly this afternoon. I’ll post up some poctures My 10 year old animal fanatic daughter got naming rights and will carry most of the responsibilities to start. This will be my 3rd heeler and this one comes from a very respected breeder out of Arizona. Been waiting about 8 months on a litter. This is one reason I was hoping to get home soon, will be ready to pick up in 7-10 days. Jelly at 6 weeks  Jelly at 4 weeks  Here’s mom, she’s a big girl, this breeder doesn’t go for the show dog type stocky short heeler that most envision, but more an older style heeler more suitable for work. Function over Form. Many breeders in the US have outright ruined the GSD breed, for example, which is why many Police K-9's are brought over from Europe. The same thing is true in many breeds. Function should be the primary way to go. Cute Jelly, too.  When in doubt, mumble | |||

I’ve been thinking about a peanut butter later on! We have 6 kids so I think 1 puppy at a time…maybe a rescue later on down the road. 10 years to retirement! Just waiting! | |||

Peanutbutter is the one in the middle w/ the brown on the left side of the face. That would match Jelly with the brown on the right side of the face.
