After making a colossal mess of Europe and bringing us to the cusp of World War III, Victoria Nuland is retiring.

On the Retirement of Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland

https://www.state.gov/on-the-r...irs-victoria-nuland/

"But it’s Toria’s leadership on Ukraine that diplomats and students of foreign policy will study for years to come. Her efforts have been indispensable to confronting Putin’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, marshaling a global coalition to ensure his strategic failure, and helping Ukraine work toward the day when it will be able to stand strongly on its own feet – democratically, economically, and militarily."

Many call her the architect of the Ukraine clusterfuck. Perhaps she is getting out while the going's good, scrambling to scurry under her rock.

It wouldn't surprise me to see more of these assholes "retire"in the next six months.

The fact that this RAT is jumping off a sinking ship is very telling to me.

She knows this mess she started in Ukraine isn't going to end well and that Trump is looking increasingly like the man who will beat her boss, President Depends, in the election this November.

Does Nuland leaving government clear her of legal scrutiny? I'm reminded of Lois Lerner at the IRS.

Not legally.

Crimes committed by a fed.gov employee while in office that are not part of official duties are still crimes.

Lerner skated because Obama and Holder ran DOJ.

When a new admin of the other party comes into office, it's customary for all political appointees to hand in their resignations. I was figuring in Nuland's case, Trump would still take the time to personally fire her with a letter detailing all the damage she has done.

Everywhere in the world Nuland has gone, war, death and destruction have followed.

She's the human equivalent of the grim reaper.

The use of her nickname "Toria" in official government communication reminds me of third world country governments where government officials have celebrity status and are often referred to by their nicknames being that they're in the elite class and wield power.

I also like in her congressional report that there are American representatives to prevent corruption. I read that as there are American representatives to make sure the US politicians who passed the bill to fund Ukraine gets their piece of the largesse.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
