I drink a lot of tea. Usually black or green depending on time of day. My go to for a quick bag is Republic of Tea, but I try to get loose leaf when possible from Mad Hat Tea here in Tacoma, they are a great tea resource if any SF'r is in the area.

Haven't tried this yet but it seems like you can order Ippodo via Prime. I don't because I just stock up on Ippodo when I go and bring it back. And also I've found some pretty good tea in local japanese grocery stores.

But there are two ways to order Ippodo now: direct from their US website or via Prime. And of course, from their Japan website.

Wow, no kidding. I never expected so many responses. Thanks everyone, I appreciate the feedback. Looks like there are some great choices. I look forward to trying some of them.

Cheers!

Coffee is my stimulant beverage of choice. And I drink superb coffees!

When the urge for tea strikes me, I usually have something mundane, such as Bigelow English Teatime.

While loose leaf is preferred, it is difficult to obtain. A decent substitute has been Tetleys British Blend (little round bags) also known as tea in toilet paper. Herbals are nice but limited to mint, chai and sweet dreams. Black teas are 'reboxed' into metal containers and keep fresher longer.

Just a boring type guy but I favor Earl Grey and occasionally Oolong. No sugar, no cream...Just hot

I'm also a big Twinings fan.

My favorite blend of theirs is called Prince of Wales. Comes in a green box. Their Chai is good too.

We drink quite a bit of Irish or English breakfast tea. We alternate between Barry's Gold, Lyon's, or most recently Taylor's Yorkshire Gold.

Another vote for Prince of Wales and Irish Breakfast teas. Anything brand that features tea grown in the Yunnan province of China (a black tea), is decently caffeinated, aromatic and has a wonderfully mild taste.

A tea shop by the Fabric District is pretty liberal in their weights. BYOT - Bring your own tin. She'll mix her black tea with orange rinds-something and "create" Lady Grey. I've also got it in foil bags. Five other loose teas. Lots of bagged tea. Some are a few years old but still work (the decaf-black apricot may be 10+ years old but I'm still working through it). A newer favorite, Choice brand White Peony sun-brewed with honey. Or brewed hot with blackberry honey from Quemado, New Mexico.

Generally, caffeine-free after 3pm.

I have been a tea drinker for years, but stick to Lipton Decaf so probably unable to assist you.

Mine is all pretty low end.

In the morning:

In the afternoon:

If I'm looking for something a bit different, especially during cold weather.

If I want something lighter or with less caffeine:

Puerh tea. I have a cup everyday. It has many health benefits, and a really pleasant flavor.
