ruger357Funny how history repeats itself. A complete incompetent blown out by an outsider that resurrected the country. And the Iranian hostages released when Reagan was inaugurated just like the hostages now being held. Strong Republican MEN can accomplish a lot if given a chance.

Strangely enough, Carter’s efforts outside of political office help prove that the government is not the solution to society’s problems. I use Habitat for Humanity, a program championed by Jimmy Carter, as an example of what can happen when people help each other, in contrast to public housing projects as government solutions to housing problems. I then ask if someone would rather live in a housing project or a habitat for humanity home.

Getting out of bed, he made his way to the Presidential Study to read.
As he reads, the ghost of President Theodore Roosevelt appeared.
Teddy says to Carter “ You know who I am and what I did while President. Are there any world problems right now where I might give some advice?”
Carter responds “Well there are these students in Iran who have taken over the US Embassy. They are holding 52 of our people hostage.”
Teddy replied “So you sent in the Marines to take the Embassy back.”
“No, I’ve decided that so long as the hostages are held, I won’t leave the White House.” was Carter’s reply.
“Well, time must have changed quite a lot since I was President. What else is happening?” asked Roosevelt.
“The Russians invaded and have now occupied Afghanistan, that’s another problem,” replied Carter.
“So you sent in the Army to aid the British in throwing those bastards out, right?” said Roosevelt.
Carter, rather meekly replied “No, we are boycotting the Olympic Games, set to be held in Moscow.”
Roosevelt looks are Carter and bellows “Jumping Jesus on a pogostick. Next thing you’re going to say is you gave away the Panama Canal!”

Carter was happy the day Obama was elected. He knew he was about to lose the "Worst President Ever" title.
Carter was overjoyed when Biden became President because he knew he'd now be the third worst President.
