I was at a gathering watching the NYE countdown on FOX. They pushed the button and started the countdown... the problem was the clock on the entertainment center next to the TV said 1200.
We all looked at our watches, it was in fact 1200. The countdown got to 11 and the channel immediately switched to the local news. After a few seconds we realized this wasn't a mistake and someone just said "Screw it, happy new year!"
