Disappointed. She forgot the prime directive. Dance with who brung ya. Oh look... we can get some free publicity and bonus points while showing how sensitive to the current social climate we are.  all the while stomping on the very culture she has played off her entire career, you know... the one that made her mega rich. I'm sure this was initiated and pushed by her marketing and or PR firm but she didn't have to sell out. Collecting dust. | |||

It is a shame. I think people forget what demographic really spends the money at these type of events. Just ask NASCAR. A few years back we went to one of the performances when we were in Myrtle Beach. We enjoyed the show, a little pricey but I had fun. | |||

I've been by the Dixie Stampede a number of times, but never been inside. With this pandering change, I probably never will.
She later married Bobby Troup, who would go on to portray Dr. Joe Early opposite her on Emergency. I heard this when Emergency was in its original run, but thought they meant she was married to Robert Fuller who played Dr. Bracket.
