I have had it probably 10 times in my life. I prefer the slightly sweeter mead. Unfortunately, all mead gives me lava-like heartburn.

I tired some from a local brewery. Tasted like cough syrup and floor cleaner. For something made from honey it was really bad.

I don't love it. I really don't care for the sweeter more honeyed varieties, but even the drier kinds aren't really my cup of tea.

But some folks love the stuff, so . . .

The good stuff is OK, the bad stuff is bad. Beer is better! But for sure get a few bottles and see for yourself.
